Home Care in Baltimore, Maryland
Baltimore, the largest city in Maryland, is home to more than 78,000 seniors aged 65 and older, comprising 13.2% of the city’s total population of 593,490. Aptly known as the Charm City, Baltimore is an appealing destination for seniors with its historic sites and harbor attractions, complemented by a generally pleasant climate and access to a world-class health care facility.

Baltimore earns its highest score in the Health and Safety category at 66, with residents having access to the nation’s top-ranked hospital, Johns Hopkins, along with more than 20 other medical facilities, more than a thousand pharmacies and robust, city-initiated senior programming. However, high violent and property crime rates shave off some points in the safety department.
