In this walk of life, we are but strangers. Strangers that come from all different walks of life. God Gave each of us a special family that we can call our own. A family that with a little time and little patients will love us for who we are and what we have become, so we never feel alone again. A family that will protect us.... time after time and after time ... A Family...That is kind to all of us... regardless of our troubles... Until the End.Hello...My name is Maxwell Jackson and today I would like to tell you about 2 places that I hold close to my heart and would recommend them based on my personal experience, Avalon Place and Leslie Lakes of Louisiana. If one were to ask my opinion of both Avalon Place and Leslie Lakes, my response would be summed up like this...I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!During My Father’s stay as a recovering patient and a resident of both facilities, in his exact words, “They Were Both Peaceful.” To me, they offered him a sense of gratitude and dignity that we will all one day come to know as we age on in life. Avalon Place and Leslie Lakes offer a serene environment that is suitable for both your loved ones and their families. They offer a quality of life that are abundant, necessary and satisfying to anyone and all who wish to provide their loved ones a place that is reasonable to the very conditions that they are in need of, followed by accommodations that are suitable for whatever the length of time that is desired. An example of just one of these accommodations is the dining hall at Avalon Place. My reasoning for mentioning the dining hall is because it’s a grand and spacious area that offers both families and friends a chance to spend time with their loved ones while enjoying a meal, followed by the other various amenities. If you’re looking for something of a soothing environment then look no further than Leslie Lakes. I found Leslie Lakes to be a breathtaking environment that offers the peace and tranquility that you and your loved one long desired. In both locations your family member will find that making new acquaintances will not be a problem and is essential to not just staying social but also keeping them active, which I found allows for a more well-rounded experience, giving your loved one a chance to fit right in with the other residents while making new friends. Furthermore, both facilities offer a variety of activities and I was amazed at how he allowed himself to participate in whatever they had going on during the present time. This is something that I found to be essential because it was important to me that my father remained active. It has a kindred selection of nursing staff with the most tentative aids who are there to assist your loved one in all manners of their needs no matter the time of day. The highlight of Leslie Lakes is the outdoor view of their pond. Theirs quite actually nothing like it that I have ever seen while visiting some of the facilities while in the process of making a decision. However, it’s not just the accommodations that are offered by these two different facilities that make these houses of warmth stand out, it is also the people that make both places an added bonus. Examples of such good people that I speak of are none other than Mrs. Felecia, Mike Mann, Robin Meir's and Mr. Fudge of The Avalon Place. However, if you are considering Leslie Lakes, then you will be blessed with the presence of Mr. Robert Landry, Anjanette Davis and Stephanie Bryant along with many others of the Leslie Lakes Staff. I mention these individuals because each one of them played a pivotal role in not just working with my father but at the same time saw to his wellbeing. Not only this, but the team members and staff are highly knowledgeable when it came down to my father’s care followed by the care of all the other patients. These are people that not only take pride in their work but will also look out for your loved one no matter the circumstance as they did mine. The nursing staff and aids are top notch and are people who you can trust with your loved one's needs. Both facilities I found to be extremely helpful and tentative at all times. I’m able to say this from a place of experience and a place from the heart; that even though you will run upon times that seems sullen, understand that where there is darkness there is also warmth and hope to those who seek it.If you haven’t yet... or your just not sure of your options, then I encourage you to please stop and take a moment to contact Avalon Place and Leslie Lakes. You will not be disappointed! And to the Paramount Corporation, I sincerely Thank You for All of you did while my father was in your care.Thank YouMost Kind...Maxwell Jackson
