Summers Landing Vidalia

I do not recommend this place, my mother had a couple falls while living there, one was during their COVID quarantine, they told us from the being they will change her diaper every two hrs which wasn’t true. When she first got there she was able to walk with her walker with assistance, after I bought her home because of Covid she wasn’t walking anymore I took her to the doctor and she received an x-ray and her right hip was dislocated,The dr said he doesn’t know how she endured the pain.I called the facility to let them know what the dr said and was promised to call me back once they get her records out of storage since she no longer lives there and they never called. The food is awful, when we were there I witnessed a resident leaving the dining room complaining how awful the food was.I wish now I never had my mom there,be careful of broken promises.for what these residents pay monthly things could be better and they don’t keep the grass cut.

Summer's Landing in Vidalia is an awesome place to visit and live. The staff are hard working. There are lots of activities for residents, bowling, arts and crafts, educational speakers, trips to Walmart, adult coloring, church, singing, Matt Dixon coming to play his guitar and sing, and good food. Sometimes the food is not what we all want but majority of the time it is great. The management is awesome and very caring. The manager lives at the home and she is very caring and fun. I recommend Summer's Landing to anyone.
