I have a family member at the Bostonian. This facility was chosen sight unseen due to covid and the immediate need to leave the hospital. Communication is key and it's awful here from the cna's upto the administrators. It's difficult to reach anyone regarding your love one especially on the weekends. I question if they are short staffed and the integrity of the staff. It starts from the top and hopefully nursing facilities will begin to be accountable for their poor quality of care for this vulnerable population.

I spent 6 of the worst days of my life at this place. The first three days I felt isolated and cut off from everything and everybody. I had a cell phone but no charge so I could not call any one to let them know where I was..The only contact I was the TV which did not work half of the time. These were minor things I could overlook but the fact that the food was so terrible that I actually went t I bed hungry on several occasions. You do not have a choice for your meals. They have a one choice for everyone. If you do not eat what they send you you go hungry. I had to order food from the outside on three occasions because I was so hungry. There were a few people on staff that treated me really good but most were down right rude. So I did what I had to do to get out of there as fast I can and I will never go back there again.
