Adams Heritage

One star is too many for this place. DO NOT place your loved one in this facility if they're not able to communicate and care for their self. This place has clearly has ZERO experience, knowledge and/or compassion caring for a patient who is nearing their end of life. They expect a patient who can't eat, drink or talk to ask for their pain meds. If the patient can't communicate then they don't get their pain meds... "you need to ask for your pain meds or we won't give them to you!" They expect the patient to reach to their bedside table to get their own water glass for hydration. Your loved one will sit in a wet/dirty diaper for HOURS until a family member gets to the facility and discovers your loved ones lack of care. This facility makes up the rules as they go if you question them or are an advocate for your loved one. I could go on and on of the horrible care, and mean staff we encountered. One staff member will tell you one thing and another employee will tell you something different. Just because this facility might be close to your home, do not make the same mistake we did, put your loved one in a hospice facility or keep them home with in-home care.

I'm giving zero stars and its not that I had a fried it would be friend..my mother in law stayed at heritage from DEC 2017 until she passed away there in march 2018 it was a horrible experience the only way heritage would have more than 1 star for service is because they lie and hide things such as my mother in law "falling out of bed "but yet she had a broken hip..there was 000 nutritional help or supervision she lost 20 lbs in a month wasted away til death and all that was said at a care plan meeting meeting was she eats chocolate and twinkies that's better than nothing..that was her nutrition.she was left is wet nightgowns.got diaper rash a back rash a bedsore.family wasn't called with med changes.the day nurse was 20 and did not respect any family wishes I could go on for pages.I wouldn't take my dog to heritage..
