Ambiance Home Health Care

THE RUDEST Office Manager & took 2.5 weeks to call us back after the hospital sent them referral for a critical care patient. Eventually they sent a nurse out & just show up at the door with no prior phone call. They have no equipment to monitor Blood pressure or other which was their primary purpose as meds were to be adjusted per readings. I called the office to ask questions and encountered the RUDE OFFICE MANAGER. If this is what is representing our health care providers then we need regulations. People do NOT need this added frustration or major delay in care. The case manager at the hospital (making the referral) needs to be told NOT to use Ambiance Home Health, demand another agency.

I would never work for this company!! Everything you have read in the comments are true. The DON, Melissa is so foul mouthed and dresses provocatively too for the part. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!As a ARNP and former DON myself, I would never speak the way she does to staff and customers. Very unprofessional and she even says she is and doesn’t care. Every other word out of her mouth is either F&$k or S$&t and don’t get me started on how she bad mouths her staff, current and former. Speaking with Melissa made me very uncomfortable and couldn’t believe she was still in the role after all her staff quit and all the negative reviews about her. The owner(s) should be ashamed to have a individual like this speaking on behalf of their company.

If 0 stars was a choice, that's what I would have noted in this review. Manager Melissa is unprofessional, rude and abrupt. Lack of coordination; things fall thorough the cracks and the family members need to follow up to find out what's going on. The in-house scheduling staff are inefficient and ineffective; need more training. Right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. Nursing and aid staff are very good, though, but scheduling is a source of frustration! This organization is clearly in need of new management/leadership!

This company is great. I've worked with them on several patients and they are always accommodating and have a quick response time. I also appreciate how helpful and kind the office staff are every time I call. Excellent company.

My mother received excellent care from Ambiance. All the clinicians were helpful and friendly and really helped my elderly mother in her time of need. The office staff was always helpful and went out of their way to make me feel at ease during a difficult time. I spoke with a Melissa for an extended period of time and she was very helpful and went out of her way to give me additional resources for my mom.Highly recommend.

They fail as a company an as a care. Customer service was terrible. They don't give a danm about my 94 years old father.

This business only care about the money and not about any care. Manager was very rude and fail to provide the support that my 94 year old father need. There it was an issue with the documents and with no notice at all they stop the service on my father. I tried to have a conversation with I guess manager, Melissa but this lady was very rude. I won suggest to use this company or trust to take in care of your love one.

The management at this facility is far from professional! Melissa is by far the worst DON I have ever experienced. Melissa lack professionalism and is always talking down on others. If you ever have a problem she is unapproachable and almost every other word that comes out of her mouth is a curse word. It's kind of hard to talk to anyone from management because you can hear the frustration in their voice when you call to ask a question. I would never work for this company again. Worst experience ever. Sometimes I wonder how unprofessional people like Melissa get a DON position because she is so focused on talking negative about the patients and the staff that its hard to believe she has time to do her own work. The positive thing about this company is the variety of patients you get to meet. I love the patients they are amazing so that is why I decided to continue Home health but with a different company. Good luck to anyone who works with this company your experience maybe better than what mines was.

Two out of three visits of this company sent me to the ER. Rude and unhelpful office, incompetent nurses. Could not do an easy IV.
