Amery Memory Care

I LOVE this place! We moved our mother to this facility having been evicted from another......she's a badass! In all fairness, her previous facility wasn't equipped to handle a woman in her mid-80s with significant hearing and memory loss. Add to this, she was used to walking 4 miles a day. The long hallways have served her well in this situation. The staff is incredible! It's a hard job, but smiles are never lacking. The activities just keep coming with live music, multiple times per month. The rooms are adequate size, modern and well-maintained with large, private baths ensuite. And while the facility is locked, there are 2 outside courtyards which can be accessed by each of the four dining rooms so that residents can get outside to enjoy the sun unassisted. This is the perfect place for Mom. I would recommend to anyone - particularly if your loved-one is having issues with memory.
