Avante at Mt Dora

Came in on a stretcher, BUT with there help and consistency I was fast walking the halls and able to leave the facility 11 days later. After being on a ventilator for 2 days at Fl. Waterman, I was unable to walk more than baby steps as my muscles were shutting down. Physical therapy was the only way to regain my strength and have the ability to walk normal again. They kept me busy working daily from BALL catching, picking up sticks, stacking blocks , to BIKE riding. We worked on stepping up and down platforms and stairs, and even going outside on the rough terrain in order to make sure I had my balance. EVERY DAY was a challenge but we worked together and they NEVER gave up on me. I thank them that I can still perform and do my daily physical activities. Its been three years but I appreciate all that they did. The entire staff was amazing. They always had a smile on there face and kept a positive attitude. THANK YOU ALL for giving me better years ahead. P.S. Food wasn't bad either.
