Joyce Copeland and James Eble Weldon Group LLC should not be caring for vulnerable adults ! They have had people taken from them by Adult Protective Services including Joyce’s own Sister ! Don’t let them fool you ! Do your homework before you place a loved one with them . Our elderly deserves love and patience ! Joyce and James have neither !

Do not entrust your loved one to these people because they could care less about them. Jim is a bully but only bullies women & the seniors who are in his care. Please listen to these reviews & not even consider taking a loved one to the Bauer House. It is a beautiful place but the owners are only in it for the money. It seems they promise & offer very good care but when you leave the facility, it turns into a literal house of horrors.Examples; loved ones are not given their medicines, some are left wandering out the door where it is close to a major highway, patients left with bruises on their body, clothing given to other patients & so much else. Workers let go because they actually know the medical field & would see how incompetent the owners really are. Does this sound like the Bauer House is capable of taking care of a loved one? I could go on about the issues this facility has but I've listed enough. KEEP YOUR LOVED ONES SAFE & AWAY FROM THE BAUER HOUSE.

Please be advised that the people running this AFC home, have many issues from the past and the present. They have a Beautiful place but it is no place for our elderly loved ones especially who suffer with Dementia. They have bad tempers and have been closed down before for abuse and neglect. Many people in the Manistee area have had threats and issues with Jim Eble and Joyce Copeland. Joyce lost this home and license and Jim Eble bought the home and got the license in his name, as the state would not give Joyce a license again. Please, please do your homework before placing your loved ones here. Our elderly people do not deserve to be treated the way our loved one was treated.

These people that own and run the Bauer House are not competent to give our poor elderly loved ones the care that they so deserve. They both have very bad tempers and should never be allowed to have a license to care for our poor elderly ????????

Beautiful facility but don't let that fool you or your LOVED ones. Joyce & Jim have ALOT of issues & they have no business taking care of our elderly. Tempers & Neglet are two of the list of problems. Please don't let them fool you!
