Bethany Village

Bethany Village has been a wonderful place for my 85 year old grandfather. He is safe and cared for at the highest level. The staff is kind and attentive. The daily activities are engaging. They have weekly outings that are fun and exciting! I visit my grandfather once or twice a week and I have never had a bad experience. Our family is so thankful for this amazing facility.

My mother has been a resident of Bethany Village for over a year now . If you have a loved one at this facility , you can rest assured , they are in the very best of hands . The staff here are professional , kind , compassionate , and go out of their way to make sure everyone is comfortable . They have a wonderful personal relationship with each one of their guests , as well as family members .The activities are endless , with so much enthusiasm ! I give Bethany Village 5 STARS ????????????

Our mom went to Bethany Village on December 12, 2019. It was a difficult decision for us, but Mom was not safe living in an apartment without supervision anymore. With wintertime temperatures, we were concerned that she would go outside, and not remember her keys or how to get back inside; she could no longer remember how to use her cell phone. Other options were available to us, including moving Mom to live with one/both of her daughters; however, both of us are less than retirement age, and need to work. We found Bethany Village 'by accident', during Mom's fall voting experience at the facility, and she said that she wanted to go there to stay. So, it seemed that this was God's good providence, since we were agonizing over what to do. We made arrangements to admit her to this facility. The staff members have been very good to Mom. Yes, she is forgetful, and sometimes challenging to them in both behavior and remarks, but most of them are understanding and kind, no matter what kind of day she is having. And, they have been very good to us, her family. The best part of Moms' living situation now, is that she has been able to bring her cat to Bethany Village with her. With other options, she would not have been able to keep her cat, and he is very important to her. We are grateful that Mom is safe for now. Who knows what the future may hold? Her Alzheimer dementia will progress, and she may no longer be able to be cared for at Bethany Village, but we will always be thankful for the care she received when she needed it most, during her transition from independent living to needing daily help for various functions to maintain her health.

The staff at Bethany Village, Bethany, PA are wonderful. My mother has been there only a year, but she has come out of her depression after my dad's death to become the social butterfly she once was. She's hardly in her room as there are so many activities to keep both her mind and body active.The care she receives from the housekeeping staff to the administrative staff far exceeded my expectations. I would recommend Bethany Village, Bethany, PA to anyone who is looking for a wonderful place for their family member or themselves to move into.

I want to respond to the Bad Bethany review that recently appeared. My Mom started her third year at Bethany in February 2020 and she is very happy. It seems to me that this reviewer is misinformed. Both staff and management are wonderful and go out of their way to help. The chef is a man so that can't be right and I know they are very careful with all aspects of hygiene and cleanliness. And as for the claim about a theft and firing - that is certainly the stuff of rumors. If you have a question or problem, talk to the management. I am sure they will professionally tell you what they can. As hard as these people work, they deserve better.

Our family made the wrenching decision to place Mom at Bethany Village over 5 years ago! From Day 1, ALL the staff - maintenance, housekeeping, food service workers, resident caregivers, activity directors, nursing supervisors, office staff, and on up to the chain to the facility director and the ‘hands on’ facility owner who is on premises every day - greet Mom by name. She is loved and cared for with dignity and respect and loves every one back. Any concerns or questions we have had have promptly been addressed by the appropriate person. My sisters and I could not be happier with Bethany Village and the care Mom receives!

Absolutely horrible place. Management is terrible. I was told that that the Cook made food when she was sick. The turnover at this place is terrible. I heard that an employee was only suspended when they stole from a resident. Look elsewhere!
