The Villa At The Bay

More like a prison, and the staff is awful! They did everything in there power to not allow me to see my mother! I drove hours to see her, and the staff was as bad as boarder patrol. They even had the nerve to put in there 2 cents n say that my mom doesnt even want to see me but they didnt even know who i was, extremely rude & i drove 22 hours & never got to see her. Had to be fully vaccinated and my daughters her ONLY grand children were denyed visiting or even bringing her outside :(

Mother went there for rehab for broken hip. Worst experience ever. She said she would rather die than go back to that place. Head nurse ignored me saying something was wrong, until I talked to manager. Turns out Mom had stroke while there. Mom was left hours in wet diaper waiting. Food was horrible. Don't send anyone there unless it's ok for them to die, because that is the kind of care they will get. Place should be shut down.

My mom is in rehab at The Villa. So far I am NOT happy at all. Front desk does not answer phones. And director of Nursing, (Mike Emblem) will not return calls. I can’t seem to get a hold of anyone at anytime! Next step is to call the owner and start reporting a few people.
