My father was admitted on Wednesday September 16, 2020 for short term skilled rehab, following a partial hip replacement. Please use extreme caution in allowing your family member to be here without close monitoring. The call button in his room intermittently worked and it took 20 minutes for staff to respond. He reportedly called out for help with staff just outside his room and no one responded. He ended up calling 911 twice because he was so afraid. While he was confused, please know he is quite lucid and lives independently. Their Covid intake precautions are not consistent with best practice. He was not going to be allowed visitors for 14 days, but placed with a room mate. While one administrator expressed concern, another administrator stated it was possible it would take 20 minutes to respond to a call and did not present as concerned that a call button was malfunctioning in their acute rehab wing. As of today, we are transferring him to another facility for his rehab. Please use extreme caution.
