3rd time my mom has been here. 1st time years ago they worked with her after a fall and she broke her back. She was strong after returning home. The last time she had no broken bones after a fall but had to go to rehab from hospital as was extremely weak after being released. We couldn't visit due to covid so we had no idea the shape she was in until her release. This time she has a broken ankle and cannot walk so instead of doctors visiting BC she is transported to the doctor but someone has to be there for her from her family. The ortho schedules an appointment 10 days after cray and casting, for some reason and the transporter changed the appointment time from 4 to 1:39 without asking anyone so I have to take time off work because the BC has only 1 transporter and she doesn't work past 4 just for a check in visit. Didnt check with me to see if I could be there and when I called to ask about the change of appointment I got a smart Eric remark from a nurse asking if I would want to take her. Why yes I would if she could put weight on her foot enough for me to take her but she can't. I called to combine to the supervisor about the remark but could not get a call back SO here I complain. When she was released from BC Lincolnton the last time there were 3 people helping us leave while asking for a good review. Maybe 1 of them can transport patients to appointments so people don't have to lose hours of work. If I didn't work I would be taking care of her myself. But I need my job and my job needs me there. But BC Lincolnton apparently doesn't care about that as if they don't get money from my mothers Medicare to care for her!
