— ?? Only because I can’t give a negative star I give a one. My father was sent here after a two week hospital stay to receive physical rehab to regain his strength. He wasn’t able to even get up by himself. The 2nd and last night he stayed an employee brought his dinner to his room around 5:00pm and placed the tray across the room on a table that was meant for another patient IF there had been one in the room. (My dad was the only patient in the room) He waited for a few minutes and then turned on his call light. Around 8:30-8:45 someone finally came to check on him and turn his call light off. This person offered to warm up his plate in the microwave and bring it back to him as if that should have even been an option. By 9:00pm I had found out what happened and was on my way with a hot meal for my dad. After I arrived I found out he also had not been helped to the bathroom ANY that day, and had been told to use his diaper and they would clean him later. He also had not had a shower and had received less than 10 minutes of physical therapy for the day. This is a man that was driving 2 weeks before he was admitted to the hospital which was 4 weeks before being placed in this facility. It is totally unacceptable to be treated this way. The following morning my sister and I were on our way to “break him out”. We did this without Dr.’s orders because we knew we could do better with him at home. Of course the staff were trying to make things better, but if in 2 days you want someone of their right mind to soil themselves and wait on you to clean it up at your convenience, not supply the only treatment he was there for, and try to serve you three to four hour re-heated food, obviously this facility needs more than a few suggestions. We left with our father, had multiple home health care workers and physical therapist work with him (all covered by his insurance) and he gained his weight and his strength back and made a full recovery. Please do not send your loved ones here or anywhere that you can’t keep a close check on them.
