Brookdale Home Health St Louis

My husband has used Brookdale's Home Healthcare Services after his kidney transplant and sibsequent hospitalizations. We have received excellent care beyond all my highest and I expectations and I demand a lot.GENERAL CARE: Overall, everyone is professional, timely, courteous, substitutions are not sent - unless it is discussed with us previously and scheduled, and everyone is extremely qualified and friendly. RN CARE - Our RN does an excellent assessment of my husband every visit, asking the appropriate post-operative questions and looking for anything that could affect his health as his is complicated. He has been in the hospital a lot so he has kept her busy. She has stayed very late - once when I had to call 911, (and have him taken to the hospital from home) to making sure we had all the necessary supplies, medications @ home, and needed equipment to get us safely through until the next day. She can always make me smile, which I appreciate, and her skills and technique are impeccable. Organized, efficient, and done of the best home health nurses I've met!!PHYSICAL & OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY - My husband's Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapist are excellent also. They both are VERY skilled and so know what they are doing - by accessing my husband as to this needs, setting his goals, working with him to meet those goals, leaving clear, often written, pictorial instructions for exercises to do between visits, and then continuing the process over again. He has made slow steady progress, despite a lot of hospitalizations..., which, in part, I credit to their knowledge, excellent care, encouraging nature, many different ways to achieve his desired goals. If they were running late, they called or texted. Brookdale has put together excellent teams of healthcare professionals to work with loved ones in home. I trust them to help anyone meet their desired healing goals.
