My mother was there for 2 years in the memory care unit. The staff started going down hill in 2017. My mother was self pay which meant we paid almost 4000 a month out of pocket. The aides did not help the patients eat. I observed one aide throw a plate of untouched food away because the patient could not feed herself. I ended up helping her eat part of the fresh fruit I had brought for my mother. My mother also developed scabies and would scratch her arms until there was infection. My mother had an unexplained black eye at one point. Each season I would buy her new clothes and with in two weeks they were missing and my mother was in some sort of ragged clothing that wasn't hers. I paid to have her hair cut every two months which never happened and no one could explain where her money went that was in a fund for her. her TV was never connected for her after we bought a tv to put in her room. My mother passed away in March 2018 with her lungs filled with fluid, she had been sick and feverish when they finally transported her to the hospital. This was not a good experience at all.
