Cherry's Assisted Living Home

After not being able to care for my Mother at home anymore I was not sure what I would do. I looked at several places in the Phoenix and Tucson area but was not happy with the level of care for my Mother. I had visited Cherry’s Assisted Living Home 5 years previously prior to my Mom needing a place and was extremely impressed. I had kept in touch with the owners Robert and Myrna so when my Mom needed an assisted living facility I called to see if they had room. They happened to have one room, so we moved my Mom from the hospital to their amazing home. I cannot begin to explain how wonderful Cherry’s Assisted Living Home is. The love and care they gave my Mother was outstanding. From the homemade meals, ensuring she was always kept clean, taking care of all her personal and medical requirements was more than I could have expected. The best thing was the love and compassion they showed my Mother. She was treated like family by all staff members and the owners. My Mother never once said she wanted to come home which says a lot. She was happy there. I could never ask for a better place for my Mother. It was like she was still at my home surrounded by those that loved her. It is an amazing, assisted living home with amazing owners and staff. A thank you is not enough for all the care they gave my Mother. We knew the moment we walked into Cherry's this was the place for our mother! She was in a local graduated care facility and had excellent care until her needs were too much for the staff, and she was admitted into hospice care. Six months after she got to this great environment she was discharged from hospice. The care she received at this great, loving home resulted in two more years of quality life, with the well coordinated efforts of in-home medical care and the close attention to Myrna and Robert, the owners, as well as the great staff who watched over Mom night and day. When Mom finally was readmitted to hospice, the staff really gave her comfort and care until the end, especially being with her when we couldn't be.
