Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with this company. Getting started was easy, and callbacks were made with urgency; however, upon the need to cancel services due to an emergency (transition from a hospital visit to hospice), things were not that easy. I left several messages (3) for who I assume was the main person in billing (Runa), to no avail. I then decide to dispute the charge with our bank, and viola I get an email from her (not a call, an email). She needed the "verification" of my mother's hospital stay. The issue here is that we never once ended up using their service, because it just so happened that my mother needed to be transported via ambulance to the hospital the night before we were set to have a caregiver come out. Instead of being understanding and wanting to salvage any hope of future use of their company, they come back with "there will be a $90 fee for termination since you did not meet the 60 hours of care". Okay, I do understand that we signed the agreement for this, and it is what it is; however, compassion goes a long way. If you want your company to do well, and you want people to (word of mouth) spread the wonderful care (from start to finish) received then you would think that they would waive the $90 fee (after all this was paid for by my elderly father who is on a fixed income). This goes to show what type of company you are dealing with here. So be advised before choosing them as your caregivers, they call you back immediately to set up services, but when you are requesting your money back you have to call them several times; and, you get an email instead of a phone call to discuss further (this shows their true colors, they were done with us at that point). So tread lightly. I must say though, that Daniella (the staffing person who usually answers the phones) has a lot of compassion and, I'm sure takes a lot of the backlash for Runa and the rest of the group. They should take note from Daniella!
