Darway Elder Care and Rehabilitation Center

This is not a good place for an elderly person to live if they don’t have much wrong with them mentally or physically. This is a place where patients with severe mental issues live and it’s a very scary place at times. I see the review said 1 and 2 beds per room, my dads room had 3. It was not a good environment for us to be in while he was dying. Not peaceful or private whatsoever. Overall it was a terrible experience but it was the only place that would take my dad because he had been in a mental institution in the past so I am grateful that they would accept him as no other place would. I do believe his mental problems got much worse very fast when he got there because of the environment he was in though. Everyone’s experiences are different but I wouldn’t put someone in there unless ABSOLUTELY necessary
