Glendale Place Nursing and Rehab Center

If I could give Glendale Place Nursing in Woodlawn Oh (long term care) a 0 I would! Horrible horrible experience. Our relative was there for rehab and then had to be transferred to LTC. The rehab side was ok but LTC employees (most of them) were uncaring. Like previous review I have read they would leave our relative in the bed all day. She seemed to get worse. She had a bedsore and they DID NOT INFORM THE FAMILY. It is also a shame how much the employees stay on their cell phones. Even though they are not supposed to. Needless to say we took her out! Probably not soon enough though. I beg you to never never never even consider taking your loved one to this place. At one point they were refusing to call 911 when we clearly could see she needed to go to the hospital. With reluctance they called 911. The first time was when we found out she had a bed sore (pressure ulcer) at the Hospital. Glendale Place obviously were not cleaning her if they didn't see that!!!! So so disappointed. The second time they had us believing she was on her death bed and we still had to force them to call 911. Like I said if you love them DO NOT send them to this place. I really hope this can help someone else's family. I do however appreciate one assistant who begged us to take her out of that place!!!
