Gurwin Jewish Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

My husband was in GURWIN for rehab. When we arrived about 8 p.m. January 18th, 2019. All the nurses were to busy to talk with me. My husband was in pain, from losing his leg. They totally ignored his admission. I begged the nurse to give him pain meds, she said she would take care of it. I left, only to get a call the next morning, that my husband was unresponsive. I was told, they got him up and brought him to the dinning room to eat, then they put him in the shower. My husband would never go in a shower without me there. They had to of forced him. Then they said they put him back in his bed. All this was done by 9. A.M. then they said they found him UNRESPONSIVE. And he was dead by 1019. A.M. none of this makes sense. The staff never gave me his clothes back, or any personal belongings. I asked to speak to the aid that was with him, who said they showered him. First of all, they would need 2 people to assist him with one leg. I don't believe them. Why wouldn't the aid speak to me, give me some closure. My husband had just turned 70. January 11. What were they hiding. What did they do to him. I truly believe, they roughed him up, they were very negligible. I would never recommend that place. They are like sheep, in wolf's clothing.
