Homewood Home Health

Very responsive to my needs which mainly were physical therapy. From nurse Richard to Jennifer who did the physical therapy evaluation to Brian the physical therapist, they are a fabulous team. I am so lucky to have them moving me a long in my path to regaining independence. They have all been extremely kind, supportive, very responsive, caring and concerned. I’ve had tremendous improvement since physical therapy started. They are all very easy to speak to to share your concerns. Whoever answers the phone in the office has responded to my questions and passed the information to my “team”.

My parents Used this company a couple of times they were awesome . The office staff is very nice also the field staff . My mom doctor recommended HomeWood and now I recommend them to all of my friends.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS AGENCY. They do not return calls and are condescending. Thursday 8/29/2019 I had right knee replacement surgery. Discharged Friday 8/30/2019 7:00 PM. I returned RN Richard’s message 10:00 PM. He came to my home to change dressing and take my vitals and was WONDERFUL throughout the entire assignment. Monday 9/2 I called Homewood to schedule two weeks of home physical therapy and was told to call back 9:00 at which time was told someone would call back to schedule visits. No one called back Monday so Tuesday 9/3 I left a voicemail. I called again in afternoon. No reply. Wednesday 9/4 I left another voicemail at 9:00 and RN Richard left voicemail from my home at 10:00. Thursday, one week after surgery, I left another voicemail and called the surgeon’s office. In one hour I was scheduled to begin PT at Pinecrest in Delray. Two hours later I got a sunny call from Homewood to schedule home PT. I said I was scheduled at Pinecrest because no one returned my callS. I told her it showed no compassion. I was now a week behind in PT. She tried blaming it on the hurricane and when I reminded her the hurricane never hit south Florida she told me the phones were down. She then asked me if I believed in forgiveness which I find extremely condescending. Two hours later the owner of Homewood called. She was very nice and asked me to consider using Homewood. I said it was already set with Pinecrest. I asked RN Richard if he called the owner and he said no. Apparently the employee who called called the owner after talking to me to try to save her job. Any business owner is only as good as the people who work for them!
