Facility looks good on the outside, however patients seem to be neglected. My Father in-law has been in the facility since August 2021. Due to neglect he has developed bedsores. The CNA staff not changing his position frequently enough. My husband and I frequently visits and on most visits, father in law is soaking wet from urine. The staff is always deflecting, their go to excuse is “I am new to the floor.” Their lack of humanity leaves my father in law at their mercy to complete their basic job responsibilities. His room has a sticky substance on the floor when I ask for housekeeping the CNA referred me to the nurse. She was unaware of who to call to clean his room.We asked for a side rail to be placed on his bed, we were told side rails are restrictive and they bought a dirty mat to be placed on the floor to break his fall. The staff are the worst. They lack empathy for their fellow human being.

.I filed a complained against this INADEQUATE nursing home. Please go into NYC.org for a program Medicaid offers for 24hr home care. It's a diversion to keep more complete care patients at home. This program can offer up to 24hrs of Home Care. My mother was admitted on September and passed away in Nov. She was suffering from nausea and told me she wasnt feeling well and we are talking about a women with cardiac issues and gall stone issues. I still do not understand why the ambulance was not called. She passed away the next morning. The Rn called me up and said she "she throw up in the morning and they found her unresponsive and started chest compression. Hmmm who started chest compression when your on the phone with me and mind you it's only her and a LPN on the unit. She said they called the ambulance. BULL CRACK. The house doctor called me and he really didnt have the answers and did not comply with an autopsy. Everything was pretty much on the hush hush. That's not a place for a person that needs complete care. And for administration, "oh please" I complained how noone picks up the phone. She was visually impaired and heard of hearing. This place was not equipped to meet her needs. I was in the process of removing because this place is HORRIBLE. I have more to say but I will write it on the other REVIEWS.
