Jefferson Riverview Health and Rehab Center

Definitely horrible place. I’ve called 5 days in a toll,everyday at the least 20-32 times. In the first two days I left 3 voicemails. I only wanted to schedule a visit with my father. On the 5th day there was someone different answered and he was surprised and asked if I had left voicemails? As I started to tell him everything,a woman in the background gets nasty and say I was calling her direct line and that isn’t where I should call. This is the extension the front desk or security told me to dial. How would I know if you NEVER ANSWERED?? Then she repeats my cellphone number to the gentleman once he started jotting down all of my information to schedule another visit. Really funny because you were clearly ignoring me and I’ve been nothing but respectful. His daughter put him there,has POA and I feel so bad for my father. I wish things were different.

This facility is the worst. My loved one returned home on hospice after 4 months of supposed rehab and therapy, returned home to us with a stage 4 wound on the coccyx bone and spinal cord was exposed . We asked several times to see the wound but was never allowed . This place needs to be bulldozed to the ground and the nurses and managers need to be held accountable for their gross negligence and elder abuse ....

The facility beds are unsafe for the patients, the food is horrible, the staff are uneducated and unprofessional. This place is unacceptable and I don't recommend it at all. The sad part is when they assume you have NO other choice because there are only a few facilities that offer certain care. Low wage workers who don't really want the job; it takes a special person to care of others. If you don't like people or have the patience to deal with the elderly; you should not take a job just to have a job! The staff at Riverview have displayed a non-workable approach to patience care and family needs. I'm so disappointed but not shocked - you get what you pay for!
