Kerr Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

My grandmother has been a resident of KLN&R for almost two years. She loves it, and so do we! The staff are compassionate and make her laugh, something that was not easy to do when she first arrived.When she had Covid, her nurse would call EACH DAY with an update to make us aware of how she was doing - the fact that they took the time call us, with everything else they had going on, I'll never be able to express my gratitude for those updates. Due to Covid, we could not visit inside for a little over a year; during that time, we were allowed numerous "window" visits where we could see her and she could see us...I literally can't explain how good it felt to see and hear her!!My grandmother is truly alive today because of their caring and competent staff.The building was recently renovated and is absolutely beautiful, the food is delicious and always served hot and fresh, and they have and continue to take GREAT care of my grandmother. I could not ask for more.I will ALWAYS recommend KLN&R as my FIRST CHOICE to everyone!
