Lakeside Crossing

You feel like you are the cash cow here at Lakeside Crossing, Conway, SC. Your monthly fees averages about $525-$700 a lot and increases significantly annually (can be up to 5% a year). Know you don’t own the land and your annual lease can be revoked and you will have to leave. Watch out for new construction here. We had 1/3 of the house electrical not working; window bowing; broken faucet, doors put on backwards, nail heads popping out of the engineered flooring …etc. What they did fix often took over a year to correct which is so wrong. We know residents that had massive leaking roofs, unsupported shower stalls at the base, detached sewer lines spilling into the crawl spaces…etc. Buyer definitely beware. Even though they gave us a 7-year warranty at settlement the house claims are denied frequently which is disturbing. Here’s the good news: I will say the residents are what makes this place. The people there are the most caring people and make this community a success and a joy to make your problems go away. Know this info before you commit to Lakeside Crossing which is a Sun Community. This is not a wise choice if you’re looking at it as a real state investment.
