Linwood Care Center

This place i thought was a nice place, my mom has been to this facility 3 times for rehab. The second time she was there i noticed that she was having trouble getting her clothes nack from laundry. I was assured her clothes would be found and they would call me. Never happened!!!! Unfortunately a few weeks later she ended up back there. Again, her clothes go missing. So I began calling first I get the same old story they're going to go down in laundry and check and it never happens no call backs, nothing I even fax them over a copy of a letter I wrote and a list of all her belongings she is missing. Still nothing. Then I get put through all kind of voice mails four different people. In the beginning of the week they gave me the administrators voicemail I left three messages she never got back to me. I guess I'm going to have to take matters in my own hands now. Please do not send anyone to this place.

Old, not clean, food is less than appropriate actually I would rate whAt was seven as “ jail house mediocre” “ grade school mash” or in simple review words awful. Staff is not well trained, appears over worked, is loud and for the most part Uncaring. A couple of staff members ( food coordinator) were genuine and loving to the patients but they were a clear exception. The furniture is beat up, old abd in need of repair and a good cleaning. Bathrooms need a coat of paint, new vanities and a careful cleaning. Staff in my opinion dies not meet minimum standards of care for patients. Patient hands are not washed, cleaning of patients who can’t do it themselves is sporadic and if you call for service it can take over an hour behind anyone shows up. After they show up the work performed is sub standard. No a place to take a loved one. Older people deserve to be taken care in a better environmebt by people who are properly trained, delirious of the challenge and caring.
