We were told that residents have a phone in the room. One resident's disabled, out-of-state family member called this morning to the main number, because his mom's phone charger had been removed from her room, her phone was dead, he couldn't reach her. The woman who answered the phone was EXTREMELY RUDE, said his mom could not talk bcs she was having breakfast - at 9:00 a.m.?!? -and there was NO phone in her room. Said she'd "let the girls know." IS THIS A PRISON? Or do The Staff at Longhouse care at all about the patients!? Longhouse needs to make some improvements!!!! There may be covid around, but please don't isolate our elderly family members like this!
