Lots of staff changes and the atmosphere that results is a staff the is overly rushed and unable to give attention as needed. One nurse aide actually told me to clean myself up even though it was in orders from the hospital at discharge that I would need to be cleaned to prevent intfection Since management changed about two yrs. ago, there has been a noticeable decline in care.

Lots of staff turnover and temporary nurse. Care suffering. Ran out of supplies several times in a couple weeks family had to buy. Miss placed meds. Do your homework state watching more than usual.

My mother was treated horribly at this institution . She was not given her medicines as prescribed. It was determined by investigators from the State of Michigan that she did not receive her medications. I filed a complaint with the state and they agreed this facility did not give her her medicine. She needed assistance going to the restroom . When she pressed the call button she usually waited 30 minutes for assistance and then another 30 to be assisted back to her bed. I know. I spent 6-8!hours a day with her. When I complained about the time to assist her they brought a bag of Depends to the room. They do not care about the dignity of their patients. They routinely screwed up he’d meal orders . She was afraid to be left alone. She relayed to me that employees were only civil when I wax present. This is so sad because I didn’t think they were civil... I thought them surly and unpleasant . My mother was sad and afraid here. We finally had to move her to a hospital after she developed a medical condition that the inept staff should have recognized but didn’t . She had a GI bleed which they said was hemorrhoids...it wasn’t. Incompetent mean spirited care.
