Advanced Rehabilitation and Healthcare of Wichita Falls

I write this review on behalf of my aunt who received care at this place. I strongly believe the neglect, irresponsible, and inattentive care provided by Advanced Rehab of Wichita Falls lead to my aunt's death. During her stay here, there were numerous times that her medication was not given, she was ignored when she pulled her call light, and her room was noticeably unclean.Also, the staff, to include the administrator, Tony Weary were rude, ignorant to what was going on with my aunt, and displayed incompetence of health matters. I recall an incident involving my aunt falling(one of many), and I went to the administrator and the exchange was rude,uncaring, and abrasive. His rude conduct, lack of medical knowledge, and "out of the loop" demeanor was greatly concerning and unbecoming of an administrator.I advise anyone who is considering this place for care, please do a thorough look at this place, ask current and former patients, and family members about their quality of care,customer service, etc. Do not let the false reviews from employees of this place mislead you into thinking it is a credible care provider, for it is not. Advice to corporate, contact former employees(i.e. nurses and other experienced people) and former family members who pulled away from this place. The current leadership,specifically the administrator, Tony Weary and DON,Brandi Abernathy and some of the floor staff have no interest in doing right by the patients, their interest is only in having a job. Their conduct, incompetence, slander and libel of patients and other credible individuals will lead to loss of business, your credible reputation, and legal actions. Some times restructuring is necessary for the sake of safety, quality, and good business practices.

Thank you to Benita, administrator intern at Advanced Rehab and Healthcare for being professional,knowledgeable, and caring during my brother's stay at this facility. Whether the need was getting paperwork completed or outside care she was spot on with her inputs and getting my brother the care he needed.
