Mount Pleasant Home is a great place for adult residents of all ages. The current resident's ages range from mid forties to the eldest resident who is 99. Mount Pleasant Home does not offer any type of onsite medical care so residents must be able to care for themselves. The facility offers 3 meals per day including special meals for the holidays, as well as abundant snacks. In addition, they provide laundry services twice a week, housekeeping once per week, cable TV, and internet access. All of these services are included in the monthly rental fee. The rooms vary in size with some offering private baths. Have some favorite furniture pieces? Bring them with you. But keep in mind that the room sizes will not accommodate a full house of furniture.MPH also offers daily activities including basic stretching conducted while seated, evening board games, as well as crafts, and cookie decorating during the holidays. This place is famous for Halloween, hosting up to 1000 little ghosts and goblins for an epic candy giveaway. Many of the residents participate in the giveaway and love to see all of the children of all ages. Parents are not only welcome to bring their little ones but are encouraged to don costumes and be a part of this longtime holiday tradition.
