things I noticed while visiting at Normandy nursing centerstaff not know rules or procedures or looked them upwalls by front door falling down and wires exposed unpainted plywood covering windows by officeno visitor badges issuedelevator needs repairs scary to useno clocks in room or any where in buildingresidents room has curtain tracks on ceiling with parts of curtains still on themdrop ceiling has been painted not replaced with areas being missedwalls in residents room painted with areas missedno seating in residents room except bedsdrive and parking areas in need of repairsno fire extinguishers visiblestaff not wear uniforms or badges no way to tell them from residentsno one allowed outside unless they smokedoors are not labeled including the officeno ids or bracelets on clientno personal storage by all bedsno pictures on walls any where in buildinggathering area downstairs has minimal seating which is not household furniture but cheap straight back chairs.no call buttons for nurses in residents roomcannot call and from outside and talk to any resident or leave a message for them they must call outonly one phone for 100 residents.
