My husband has been at power back for sometime do to a stroke.the staff and care are great. He is thriving.and I happy with the place. I would recommend powerback.

I cannot say enough good about PowerBack, Hatboro! In a matter of 2 days, they addressed, evaluated and created rehab plans that are total mind and body. The facility is truly beautiful. From the front door to my room, it’s analogous to a good hotel. The appearance alone gets you into a rehab mindset. The staff are very friendly and learn your name and likes and dislikes. They actually listen to me and treat me like a part of the process rather than just another body they have to attend to. The nurses are as good as it gets. They tell you everything that’s going on, the meds you’re getting and the reasons for whatever they’re doing. The therapists are truly thorough. I was evaluated by PT and OT for what seemed like 2 hours. They didn’t rush through any testing. They were slow and methodical. They noted everything I could do and where, even the slightest, weaknesses were. For example, they evaluated my abducter muscles and were able to detect a slight weakness that they included in my plan for strengthening. Their 2 hour evaluations were more comprehensive than the total evals at the two facilities I was in for 3 weeks previously. Lastly, the food. Top notch! Even more important, the prior facilities could not accommodate my being a vegan/gluten free, alkaline and diabetic. In fact, there was no attempt to try. Here, in contrast, they’ve bent over backwards to comply with my dietary restrictions. Last night they made me roasted potatoes, eggplant and mushrooms that was so good I could eat it every night. Truly fantastic. They’ve even ordered special foods so I could keep my diet restrictions. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for me next. Overall, this place is a grand slam. If, G-D forbid, you ever need nursing/rehab care, this is the only place to be. Their name says it all:POWERBACK#failureisnotanoption.

To be honest, I didn’t want to put my mom here for rehabilitation. I read nothing but bad reviews on everything ( except 1 site ) and I got personal Warning text from friends!! Don’t DO IT ! However , it was very close to home and I was assured I could always have her moved . First let me say, the therapy department, BEST EVER ! The main problem with nursing /aide in my experience is the restraint laws ! My mother fell out of bed every day for the 1st week ! And there wasn’t a thing we could do to keep her in bed & wheelchair because of law. No rails , barriers , bumpers , tables , seatbelts , robe tie . All against the law ! She lived her 5 week stay in a recliner set in front of nurse station along with several other patients. One of which I reported staff because I personally picked her up from Floor , when they didn’t see her there 3 times ! Although they are above ratio standards for help , that doesn’t take in count of call out or over worked fill ins . The staff was pretty much doing the best they could . The building it’s self ? Clean , well kept , except lights out I had to report 3x . My advice to anyone is be there have someone be there constantly! When they see you care 💝 they care more .
