The Rachel House

I'm a volunteer at the Rachel house, I visit the Rachel house weekly. I come to do exercise class with some of the residents, not everyone wants to do it, but it's ok. They enjoy doing things like socializing and getting out of their rooms. It's a very nice place, very clean. It make's you feel at home. The staff is very polite, caring, they show a lot of compassion for the ladies. -Jennifer

Hi, I'm Katie I'm a young volunteer at The Rachel House. I visit the residents every other week after school. We get together and sit in the dining room and I polish all their finger nails and they tell me their life stories of growing up in different states and on farms they are loving ladies the staff is so amazing.

I visit my great aunt on a regular basis. This is a wonderful place! She has lived here for many years and has enjoyed her time here. We both love the staff as they are very caring and thoughtful. My aunt loves it here and I am so thankful that she is so happy and taken care of. The place is very clean and tidy as well. They do a variety of activities.

I love The Rachel House! My Grandmother lives here and we absolutely love it here! They have their own little salon and my Grandmother is able to get her hair done at least every 2 weeks. If you knew my Grandmother, you'd understand why that is so important! She loves the ladies who work here and I do too. Everyone is so sweet and funny too! Although this is an older facility it is very well maintained and clean. You really feel right at home while you are here!

The Rachel House is a loving place to living my mother have lived their for fours years. She has not been mistreated by any of the staff members or residents. They offer things like bible study, outings, games, visitors, volunteers. It's a nice place to be, I new owners are very nice people . They care a lot about our loved ones that are in their facility. Staff members are very caring to our loved one needs I wouldn't trade that place for nothing in the world. Sincerely Mrs.Folsom
