Ramona Senior Manor

My mother has dementia and has lived at Ramona Senior Manor for six months. The care she has received has been a true blessing. The staff is kind and caring. There are many and varied activities daily to keep the residents engaged and interested. We are very relieved and comforted that my wonderful mother is so well cared for at this last stage of her life.

The hospital-like, "institutional" and unwelcoming feel of most senior care facilities is NOT something you will experience at Ramona Senior Manor. This facility has a truly cozy appeal and feel to it.The two-story manor is structured just like a home. It has quaint, welcoming rooms and knowledgeable, caring staff members. Your mother, father, or other elderly loved one is not going to be taken out of bed only to be "parked" in an open cafeteria or hallway all day long -- unlike most of the senior care homes I have personally experienced.There are numerous activities, events, concerts, reading occasions, exercise sessions, and intellectual activities in which to participate here. And staff members are always conscientious enough to include even those among the residents who do not fully understand the activities, or are unable to fully participate in the activities.The "memory care" here is top notch. Inclusion and socialization are the main elements of success that I continually witness at this wonderful place.No other senior care homes I have visited compare to this one. I state this without any hesitance. It is a terrific place with a unique, small-town setting and feel.RSM is highly appreciated! Thank you!
