NYE Health Services - Regency Square

My sister has stayed here a couple of times for rehab after a hospital stay. She is quite disabled. She has scoliosis that she has had several surgeries for. But she has a lot of pain due to her scoliosis. Enough so that she goes to a pain clinic to manage her pain. When at Regency they do not always deliver her pain meds on time. When this happens it can cause her pain to get out of control. Then it takes at least 24 hrs to get it under control taking her pain meds at the scheduled times. They act as if it’s her fault or she’s just being demanding. My sister can not go out to the dining room for meals as it puts her in a chair that causes her pain. So she eats in her room. About half of the time her food is good to wonderful. But the other half of the time the food is delivered an hour past meal time. She understands that she gets served after the dining room. But it’s the fact that the Hot food is Cold and the Cold food is Hot. They lose her clothes in the laundry and if she’s lucky they find it in a week or so. The staff and administration can be nice, cheerful and helpful and then suddenly they are surly and dismissive.
