Sabine Place

We had a very unfortunate experience with these GLORIFIED BABYSITTERS! I feel bad for any of the residents if they need assistance other than going to arts& crafts or called to the dining hall. My poor Dad went through one of the most difficult and humiliating times in his life while at this "community" it was not expected and it was not received well by this facility either. We were told how "annoying" he was and more than once. As if we were not aware of how urgent it was he be placed in a more SKILLED and CAPABLE establishment. Due to it being the weekend , we were limited. My Dad was scared and left to lay in his own feces. He had poop all over his legs and leg wraps and floor, tubing to his o2 machine, etc...they might just be a assisted living facility but my Dad is still a HUMAN BEING, going through a difficult time without his family and No compassion was shown at all. Absolutely disgusting behavior. I can't say everyone there was a nightmare but pretty dang close. I normally don't like giving bad reviews but they really made him feel bad about something he had absolutely no control over. I pray that future residents never have to experience what my Dad did. The staff also made the mistake of talking badly about my Dads situation while a friend of the family was there to get the remainder of his furniture. How horrible and unprofessional does a company have to be to actually talk badly about a elderly persons nightmare of a experience , who's suffering from cancer and copd! This place is absolutely a joke and it's ran by individuals who thinking ok to give their patients as much medication as they ask for. Insane! I highly suggest reconsidering any thought of this place!

They do not have enough staff to let you in to see your LO after 5 PM. You can not go see your LO at lunch time, or breakfast time. so if you work you cant go see your LO. They gave the patient the bill. the bill was substantially over billed. upset is not the word to describe the situation. They were told by NP to cease a medication they did not. The patient was only allowed a shower once a week because of "staff shortage". You can only move in or out during the week M-F. Pure Cluster F! LO was told they can not go out in the court yard. court yard is enclosed so they can go outside safely?????
