Spaulding Nursing and Therapy Center North End

This facility DOES NOT EVEN DESERVE 1 star! From day one the room was not clean, the bed was broken, and nobody had any clue or concern for the patients needs or safety. From that point forward the lack of staff communication ESPECIALLY management was inexcusable. The Director of Administration should be ashamed of himself for not being able to manage his facility. Instead of addressing your concerns he delegates it to his useless administrative team. In fact, he was more concerned about chasing his puppy around the facility common areas without taking into consideration that some patients and family members might have allergies. The title of "Social Services" goes to a young lady who should not be in that position. Never have I known a person who is so unprofessional, disorganized, and lacks any and all forms of communication. If you have to reach anyone don't expect a phone call, an email, or even a face to face conversation, they can't be torn away from whatever it "isn't" that they are doing. As far as patient care, forget it! Ring your bell and it takes over an hour for someone to respond. If your loved one falls you better hope they are still conscious and breathing by the time anyone comes in. I understand they are short staffed but that is NOT AN EXCUSE! Our loved ones deserve to be treated with dignity and respect! The worst part, the nurses don't even know what the medications are prescribed for, they just administer them and say "Oh, I don't know. Let me go look it up" when they are asked. I could write a essay as to how horrible of a place this is but they're not worth my energy. I'm doing this in hopes of saving the next person from being admitted. PLEASE take this review to be your deciding factor and DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!!!!!!
