St. Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center

We are so unhappy with this nursing home. The discharge planner admitted to us after we called and asked around about this facility that it’s never been the same since the Sisters left. Why they sold this to a for profit group with all low quality homes. Do your research look around the discharge planner wanted to be fair and gave us a list . Take this one off the list. A social worker at the hospital said it’s just constant turn over in all departments. The management company and its owner is never here. Sadly this is one of the worst nursing homes in the city. Do not take my word for it go and see and ask around. How depressing this environment has become and when we called to tour the two social workers both quit. We had a second tour planned glad we never went.

I am so disappointed and disgusted with the care. No one listened to my loved one, horrible customer service or really poor , staff short , especially at night, residents waiting forever to get help with going to the bathroom or be helped. We are out of there now. We are going to get home care assistance and provide the dignity that she deserves. Sadly if your low income and on Medicaid your choices are very limited. Too many changes , constant accounts of poor care buried in lies from the management.

We were shocked at how far down this nursing home has gone down . The sisters are gone all gone. It’s a for profit home now . The entire population has changed, the staff is completely over turned. The management changes are often. The staff are short , the quality of the care is questionable at best. My mother hated it here. Years ago a family friend was here and the Sisters ran it then....different the sad fact is this was a horrible experience for our family. The word is most folks in Worcester would never willingly send some one here unless desperate for a bed. That came out of a nurse at Umass hospital. Tour places, ask questions, don’t accept the first bed offer like we did huge mistake. The name doesn’t match the sacred care that once was delivered here. Very saddened for the Sisters.

Absolutely disgusting facility for your loved one. Had to report ROACHES in my fathers room on different occasions, the facility smells appalling, poorly maintained, and care for your loved one is overall horrid. The administrator Katie is despicable. GO ELSE WHERE PLEASE FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR FAMILY!
