I recently stayed at St Mary's in Huntington West Virginia on the 5th floor in the Neuroscience wing it was by far the best experience any one person can have in a hospital the nurses went above and beyond for anything I needed or my visiting friends needed they were more than a combinating they were class act just absolutely amazing wonderful experience I almost don't want to go home I highly suggest if anyone has a choice and has to be in the hospital that they had the chance to stay in this hospital and experience what I experienced again I feel it was necessary to write this review to get the girls on the 5th floor of the Neuroscience the recognition that they deserve

My dad was hospitalized several times throughout 2021. He was put in St. Mary's hospital along with a few others. St. Mary's is by far the best hospital experience my dad has received great medical care. The nurses, doctors, medical team of professionals really communicated well with each other and with him the patient (my dad) about his care every step of the journey. There was real time improvements and goals set and met throughout my dads care. Yes, I would recommend St. Mary's hospital along with Cornerstone hospital medical staff and services for anyone seeking medical attention.

My son was in alcohol withdrawal and brought to ER. One of the triage nurses( long black wavy hair 30’s-40’s) was very rude and sarcastic to me. My son was shaking severely, high blood pressure, and begging for help. I pleaded for someone to help him now and she said there wasn’t a bed ready and I said they need to get one ready now and she shrugged her shoulders as a “I don’t care” attitude and said if I didn’t want to wait there for a room I could just go back out to waiting room. I was furious. I know there are some caring nurses there but my experience lately has been very poor. What happened to professional, caring nurses? There sure aren’t many at St Mary’s ER in Huntington WV. They treat patients as if they are a burden. I know nurses have a hard & stressful job and I respect them highly. I myself am a nurse and do not treat my patients bad. I’ve never been treated like this in any ER or hospital before only SMMC in Huntington WV
