The Carlyle at Stonebridge Park

Our mom is at the Carlyle and due to the holiday weekend cant get her moved soon enough. After phone calls and meetings with the Administrator and Director of Nursing and the promises to "start doing better from this point forward", lying about what they are and are not doing, they do not care about their patients. Taking 45 to 60 minutes to answer a call button, flooding the bathroom and throwing a bedspread over it and leaving it for her to maneuver over to use the restroom, not delivering meals (leave in the hall until you ask about it and then bring a cold meal), not picking up meal trays afterward (but generously pointing out where the family could take them if they wanted it moved), nurses/aides partying half the night (laughing, talking, yelling, eating and drinking while call buttons continuously beep), having to make a nearly midnight run to the facility to calm our mother (thats how we know about the partying), employees leaving doors unlocked while going outside (to sneak back in?? I dont know) which is how we were able to enter the building after normal hours). Such blatant behavior until the phone comes out to video and document... they scramble and hide then. Do not take your loved one here!!

I’ve been here four times and I feel like I know a lot about the facility. The Carlyle is awesome with the physical therapy and they know how to help people get back to good health. The management here has improved dramatically and can’t be more pleased now than ever. Overall the food is good with a rating of 75% but this facility is wonderful to me and my family.

Big fat “0”. Terrible place for your loved one!!!1) Don’t answer the phone.2) Don’t return calls.3) Loved one had bloody scabbed lips and bruises.4) Took 25 minutes to answer the call light. Staff sitting at nurses station having a party.

My father stayed here for a short time following a surgery. They did not keep track of or give him his meds without constant reminders from family members. Multiple times while caring for him, family members went to help other patients who were crying for help, passing employees who were sitting and doing nothing. Fortunately a family member was able to stay with him almost around the clock until he was released. My father fell 2 nights ago and the fire department had to come help my mother lift him. It was decided that he needed more help then we could provide. He returned to Carlyle for one night so that nursing care would be available. When my mother returned in the morning, he was bleeding on the floor, having fallen out of the bed and no one even knew. When the Hospice nurse checked the medication log, she found that they had not administered any of his medication throughout the night, including the pain medication he desperately needs. I am sure he was in excruciating pain all night. He cannot speak well and is not able to request help or assistance. Please do not let anyone you love stay in this place.
