Cheshire Regional Rehab Center

My father had alzheimer's disease and was a patient at Cheshire Rehab. He always received good care. The staff were very compassionate and took excellent care of him right to the end.The building was always clean and the food certainly looked and smelled edible. I cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness and the excellent care he recieved.Wendy Vogel, Daughter

Just my observation: The facility appears to be clean and the grounds are nicely maintained. The office and floor staff are always friendly. (except person at the reception desk). I believe a large part of the homes decline is due to shortage of staff, patients go unattended both physically and medically. The food (once good) is now being served way past freshness. Ex: macaroni salad, tuna rancid in flavor. ( been there, tried that).

very nice place to have family.My dad was here for rehab and the staff treated him with respect and dignity.They were very hospitipal and my dad enjoyed the programming so much he didn’t want to immediatly leave. I felt very supported by the entire staff and was impressed with the cleanliness too.

I love this place.My father was here for rehab and didn’t want to go home he enjoyed his stay that much .He was treated with dignity and compassion.He enjoyed the food,programming and supportive staff. They gave him encouragement too heal and were attentive to his every need.No place is without flaws but I was impressed by the very clean condition of the facility.

Fantastic facility !!!I am baffled at the negative reviews on some of these sites.My mother is understandably a handful in her golden years, however the staff is patient and accommodating at Cheshire Regional Rehab.The grounds and interior are beautiful and well maintained.The nurses are compassionate and very nurturing in dealing with my mothers various moods and temperament. The rehab staff keeps my mother physically active and filled with vigor.The activities provided are stimulating and a great social outlet for my mom, she loves her bingo and musical entertainment and games.The food is excellent and the housekeeping staff are vigilant in keeping the building spotless.It is a pleasure and privilege having her here.God bless the staff at Cheshire Regional Rehab.
