The Oaks of Alamance

The place should be shut down by the State Department; the top management do not care about the residents; they do not show care and concern for the residents who have memory problems; the maintenance person was making fun of my relative, they've had bedbugs, quality and quantity of food at mealtimes is substandard. My relative was tranferred to another facility that was much, much better than The Oaks and was more professional. My relative is being treated with the dignity and respect at this new facility that they deserve and should have gotten at The Oaks. Avoid The Oaks.

My dad was a resident there and a mess tech gave him the wrong medicine and he was taken by ems to hospital where he was found to not be coherent and not very responsive. The facility chose to evict my dad instead of firing the employee. Do not take anyone you love there

They have bedbugs and don’t seem to care. Dustin is very insensitive to residents and family

In my opinion, thee Administrator and Supervisors demonstrate limited knowledge of state regulations. Doctors' orders do not seem to be upheld consistently. The staff turnover appear high. The processed food is not nutritious with excess simple carbohydrates and trans fats.
