The Open Door adult family home is located on beautiful High Drive on Spokane's South Hill. Our motto is "Live Well", and everything we do is designed to make sure your loved one does just that -- each and every day of this next chapter in their life.

What sets us apart is our unmatched caregiving support. We have two caregivers on during most of the day, and awake staff during the night. This unique model allows us to ensure the highest levels of care and safety, along with the quality time necessary to spend one-on-one with your loved one, allowing them the opportunity to live the way they want, and deserve.

We won't awaken your loved one at 6 am "because that's the schedule". They can sleep in as long as they'd like, and when they're ready to get up, we'll prepare breakfast exactly to their liking -- a cheesy scramble for one, hot oatmeal for another.

Would they prefer a warm shower in the morning, or a hot bath in the evening to help them sleep better? We'll make it happen.

If they need one-on-one time, be it an assisted stroll a few times a day, a companion to complete a puzzle, or someone to talk with on the back patio while enjoying a lemonade -- we accommodate, because we have the time.

We also have a special home. The Open Door has six large, private bedrooms, all on the main floor, and our home rests on almost half an acre of beautifully manicured property, providing our residents with a calm, comfortable and safe home environment.

The Open Door has dementia and mental health specialties, and we are able to provide quality care for other ailments, including Parkinson's.
