The Pavilion at Sunny Hills

This place is not a place where you want to take a loved one. Especially to live there permanently. The staff there are rude to the patients. I have witnessed it with my own eyes and heard with my own ears the head nurse telling an elderly person that she dislikes him and wishes he would go away for good?? I don't understand how anyone could talk to a harmless human being in such a cruel way. I hope I never have to set foot in a place like that ever again. And apparently, you can't leave any money or valuables unattended because there are a lot of sticky fingers around there, especially in the third floor.

My 98 year old mother entered the Pavillion for therapy after surgery for a fractured hip. She has dementia and verbal communication is very difficult. Her demeanor and attitude, however, were very positive. Her room was extremely comfortable, the therapy doable, and the staff very friendly and helpful. My daughter and I were greeted warmly by Eve Ankenman and felt at home from the beginning. Erika Duarte, Anthony Santos, and Janise Alcantara form ateam that offered needed guidance and information to the family. I am pleased with the care my mother received and would recommendthe Pavillion to others in a heart beat.
