Thomas Upham House

My Mother needed a short term Rehab stay after back surgery.. so after doing much research on different facilities, we naturally picked Thomas Upam House because of Their great reputation for Short Term Rehab! They have a beautiful rehab room and the building is very charming. The staff was outstanding ! They were very attentive to my mothers needs! They also have in house physical therapists so my mom was able to work with the same rehab therapist throughout her stay! (Most facilities contract their therapists so this was a plus for them!) The small size made the process less overwhelming to my mother as she got to know each nurse and therapist during her stay!Kathy Rebee ( the social worker ) was very helpful with the admission and stay . My mother was admitted right when Covid was starting . The medical team and facility staff were outstanding with their implementation of the covid safety protocols. My mother was able to go home after her Rehab stay, but the pandemic got worse over that year.. because of the Thomas Uphams professional staff and teamwork , I discovered that they never had any covid cases in the building !! Not one!! This is a testament to the great care that is provided to the residents ! I would truly recommend The Thomas Upham House to anyone looking for short term rehab or a long term stay for mom or dad !!

Thomas Upham House Is one of the few healthcare facilities in MA that had not one covid case during the pandemic! Zero cases!!That’s outstanding !! They have a Fantastic Medical Staff and provide great care to the residents !I highly recommend this facility for your Short term and long term care needs.
