Touchpoints at Manchester

This place isn't nice. The health care workers don't know what they are doing. They don't support their patients. Physical therapist was supposed to start it's been two weeks still no physical therapy. When asked what medicine were given the nurse's response was she didn't know. How do you not know what medicine you are giving a patient? The health care workers are very neglectful. I wouldn't recommend this place for your family.

I would like to THANK ALL ESSENTIAL EMPLOYEES ofTouch Points at Manchester working on the front lines during this pandemic. Every resident NEEDS ALL of you to continue the care and much needed friendliness that you give to them. Washing & feeding are 2 of the tasks that are done daily, yet showing your "heart" to a person you care for is what's important to them. Being genuine matters the most and a resident needs you to be compassionate towards them. Just imagine your mother or father, sister or brother within those 4 walls, not being able to see you. The lone- lines they are feeling. It is during these times, when a warm, friendly touch from you means the world. I know that each of you have the capacity within yourself to be that person, the one that can make the frightened, alone resident feel better about being there. Recognizing how important you are during this time is my "essential" duty. Please continue on with what you are all doing. Doctors, nurses, therapists and office staff deserve a high five, sent with love for being human. Again, thank you for working under these uncertain conditions. You ARE the one who matters!!I know how it feels to be a resident, as I have been there more than once for recovery post-op. I can "feel" for people in your facility, no contact from family or friends. A soft voice or a smile, maybe a joke can touch a person more than you might imagine. Keep doing what you are doing. My mother received excellent care and loving attention. At 90, she had only one hospital stay other then having her five children so she was afraid. When she arrived to her room there were fresh cut flowers in a vase on her window sill and a care package with puzzles, earbuds, and other comfort gifts. She appreciated the kindness and humor of every CNA, therapist, and nurse. She said the food was excellent. She never waited to be helped when she used her call button. And her coffee was always nice and hot! My siblings and our children were always greeted by the front office staff with a smile and "enjoy your visit". Her transition home was seamless and she continued to receive excellent care at home.Thank you to all of the staff at Touch Points in Manchester.
