Veranda Gardens

Three years ago, Veranda was much better than it is today. There may be one of two actual nurses on any shift, the rest of the staff is very incompetent. They are basically like candy stripers- they 'babysit' the residents, clean, and distribute meds. They have given the wrong meds,and on occasion have even run out of some meds. They make health decisions that they are not qualified for. The residents are reluctant to voice their issues because of retribution from the staff. The food used to be decent, but has seriously deteriated. One of the residents didn't have sheets changed for a month! If you have facility do laundry , things come up missing. The situation at Veranda, has gotten so bad. I do have contact info of a source who will investigate, and I intend to contact that source.More issues , but too many to write. I have talked to the administrator, who seems uninterested, plus he never called me back when I left msgs about my concerns.
