Villa Springfield

My mother was at Villa for nearly 2 years , and we were treated like family until her passing in April. My mother refused to single any one person out as the best, because she said there were many good people. Overall, she received very good care. I would have given Villa a 5, but I watched as new management cut staff and they were stretched too thin. The rehab unit was great. My biggest complaint had to do with Hospice, who Villa and I had to contact multiple times in her last week to get assistance. Fortunately, the Villa staff stayed by her side, and although I came in at the end, I was comforted in knowing the aide was there holding her hand.

This place is terrible, very understaffed and they do not pay attention to your loved ones. Communication with the family is terrible. Honestly the poor care is what caused us to lose my grandpa. Do not send your loved ones here!!!
