West Tennessee Transitional Care

PSA….Please NEVER EVER EVER leave someone you care about in this place. No family should ever have to go through what ours did because of their complete and utter lack of care! On October 18, 2021 they knowingly admitted a COVID-19 positive patient in their facility. Then they locked down the entire facility so none of their current patients could have visitors. A week without seeing their loved ones because of their complete ?incompetence?. One week later on October 25, 2021, I picked my mom up to take her to a doctors appointment. They rolled her down in a wheelchair (keep in mind she WALKED into that place two weeks earlier) and I took one look at her and knew she would be going straight to the ER. They didn’t even put shoes on her feet, just those dreadful socks! I took her to the ER and she was in severe sepsis. They weren’t sure the antibiotics would help before her organs started shutting down but we tried anyway. She literally died 24 hours after I picked her up from a place that was supposed to be taking care of her. I held her hand until she took her last breath. Had I not picked her up that day, she would have died completely alone. Unacceptable is an understatement! This place should be shut down and, until my last breath, I will do everything I can to make that happen. I’ve already started the process. If you need Transitional care for your loved one, PLEASE TAKE THEM ANYWHERE BUT West TN Transitional!
